ONLINE AND IN-PERSON

Embark on a supportive pathway of learning, that enables you to grow and evolve in the communication choices you make.

Communication Training for Individuals

My trainings offer simple yet powerful methods to transform how we perceive and engage with ourselves and others

The learning draws on the principles and practices of nonviolent communication and an understanding of nervous system regulation. The results contribute to deeper, more enjoyable relationships, and improved clarity and confidence when facing challenging situations.

  • Nonviolent Communication (NVC) is a communication model designed to foster empathy, understanding, and effective dialogue.

The approach is rooted in understanding human motivation through the lens of needs. It suggests that all actions are strategies to fulfil underlying needs. By identifying the needs driving behaviours, we can choose more compassionate, and sustainable ways to meet them.

NVC is also often referred to as ‘Empathic’, ‘Compassionate’, ‘Effective’, ‘Mindful’ or ‘Needs Based’ Communication’.

  • In challenging situations, our nervous system often enters a "fight, flight, or freeze" state, which can make communication difficult as we may feel anxious, defensive, or withdrawn.

Nervous system regulation involves recognising these states in ourselves and others and using techniques, including communication, to restore a sense of safety and connection.

Communicating from a regulated state provides a stable foundation for effective, meaningful dialogue, even in challenging conversations.
